I guess I can no longer deny that I’m in love with grey-purple nails. I hadn’t realized how many of these shades I own, but for some reason my collection has not stopped growing. There’s something so pulled together, grown up and yet fun about these shades. It’s easy to wear all year long and for any occasion. So here are my picks in this colour family:
Essie Chinchilly is a concrete grey with a slight purple tone but is still neutral. I think this would be appropriate for interviews for some reason. Rimmel London Salon Pro Punk Rock is the darkest of the shades, a nice fall/winter nail colour, but I won’t be forgetting about it any time soon. Revlon Naughty has red, blue and gold sheen running through it which makes it a bit more interesting and dressy than my other picks. Urban Outfitters Voodoo unfortunately is no longer available, but I couldn’t overlook it. Longlasting, shimmery but never too over-the-top. Essie Smokin Hot is the perfect middle ground for this small collection, but does lean more on the purple side. This was the colour that sparked this addiction for me! Revlon Colorstay Stormy Night is the most beige of these shades and is another anytime nail colour. When I don’t know what polish to wear, this is what I opt for.
