There is a definite sense of satisfaction in hitting pan on a powder makeup product. There’s this feeling of accomplishment for me of feeling like I’ve gotten my money’s worth and I’m not wasting or hoarding makeup. Which is way more complex of thoughts than it really should be. But if you’re a makeup lover like myself, you’ll understand why it is hard to reach the end of almost anything because I’m constantly trying new things! In order to hit pan on any product it must be a faithful favourite because I keep going back to it. These are the products I’ve hit pan on most recently, there aren’t a ton of things to feature, but they are all good ones!
For face I’ve finally hit pan on Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed, this is the only Tarte blush I currently own, but I’ve had it in my collection nearing 4 years now. It’s the perfect blush for any makeup look whatsoever so I am wearing it at least 80% of the time, and yet it has taken this long to make the smallest dent in! So pigmented and long wearing, I can’t say enough good things about the formula and shade. Next up is actually a fairly new product for me, Too Faced Coca Powder Foundation in Golden Light. I’ve been using it exclusively since I picked it up a at the end of September and this is going quickly! The scent is amazing and the formula is smooth and offers medium coverage. I’ll likely finish this up very soon. I’ve nearly completely used up the shade Soft Light from the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (review here) and have been really enjoying it, but I am looking forward to getting the chance to soon try out some new setting powders!
There are a few shades in the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone that get a lot of use from me, since I purchased it about 3 years ago. Yet it’s taken me so long to finally hit pan on one shade – the Eyelid colour on the left column of the palette. I’m sure another 1-2 shades will be hitting pan shortly, so it’s safe to say this is a favourite, I really recommend it for anyone, it’s so affordable and great quality! Lastly there are Colourpop Super Shock Shadows in Koosh & Hanky Panky. There’s no denying how much I love the formula of these as another of their shadows were featured in my last pan post here!
If you follow me on instagram, you probably already saw these featured but I wasn’t able to give my full thoughts there, so I wanted to share them with you here too! It’s been nearly 8 months since my last post of this kind (find my last post here) so I’m feeling pretty accomplished!
