MY COLOURPOP LIPPIE STIX COLLECTION – REVIEW & SWATCHES

If you’ve seen any of my blog or instagram posts over the last year, you may have noticed Colourpop Cosmetics as a constantly reoccurring theme. I love this brand, and their Lippie Stix are absolutely no exception. These lipsticks come in such a wide array of finishes and colours, there truly is something for everyone. I currently own 8 of these lipsticks, and you best believe I’ll be picking up more… But for today, let’s chat about the colours I currently own & all my thoughts!
Left to right: She Bad, Peachy, Lumiere, Grunge, Bitchette, LBB, Nevermind, Bull Chic
I made my first order from Colourpop just over a year ago, and have been obsessed ever since. For just $5USD each, or currently $6.70CAD they are more affordable then almost anything else on the market and I personally think they perform amazingly! The price point of their products (all cruelty free, might I add!) is just phenomenal and the quality well surpasses the low price! The packaging is good, there definitely isn’t anything revolutionary about it, but I do love the long, skinny bullet these lipsticks come in. The angled end is also really nice and allows a smooth, effortless application straight from the bullet.

As you can see, I have picked up several shades, primarily in the Matte formula, and have found the performance to be great across the board. These lipsticks apply so smoothly and have amazing colour payoff. My one complaint would definitely be that they are not a true matte, as they do not fully set, but there is no shimmer or obvious sheen. I like that they don’t dry down entirely as the finish is quite comfortable. Based on my one experience with the Matte X formula, it is more like a traditional matte finish.

I genuinely wear these lipsticks all the time and can’t wait to add more to my collection!
