I am so unbelievably grateful and fortunate to have been sent this BitexInfluenster Vox Box to review and share with you! The box contains 2 of Bite Beauty’s
The Lip Pencils, which are available exclusively at Sephora as of today. The VoxBox also contains 2 sample Amuse Bouche Lipsticks and a biodegradable Sephora pencil sharpener as these products are made to perfectly compliment the new launch. This new lip pencil is a highly anticipated one, because Bite always does lips right. I have had these products to try for a couple of days now, and have had the opportunity to really put these new pencils to the test, both with and without the Amuse Bouche Lipsticks and other lip products. With 22 shades inspired by real lip-tones, there really is something suited to all shades and neutral lip products.

In the box I received 020 (beige nude) and 044 (rich mahogany) which are both gorgeous shades, and the rest of the line up looks to be just as impressive! I can’t wait to use these even more and likely pick up a couple more shades in the range. Retailing for $20CAD each, they are priced fairly and somewhere in the midrange for lip pencils and I think they are 100% worth the investment.
The Lip Pencils look to be your classic lip pencil, encased in a wood barrel with a sleek shape. The matte black packaging is just as beautiful and minimalist as all Bite Beauty products, and I personally really admire the simple, utilitarian packaging. It feels luxurious in an unassuming way. The colour indicators at the bottom of the pencils are all that differentiates each pencil, and makes picking out a shade simple! And these indicators are actually accurate matches to the product inside, and nothing bothers me more than when that isn’t the case.
The Lip Pencil in 020 with Amuse Bouche Honeycomb over top – a perfect nude that suits my skin tone so well. An easy everyday and every occasion lip combo.
The Lip Pencil in 044 with Amuse Bouche Whisky over top – a bold neutral on me. Feels quite grungy with it’s brown undertones and I’m totally digging it, especially for this time of year!

The Lip Pencil in 020 and 044
These pencils glide on the lips with ease – no tugging or dragging, just opaque coverage in one swipe. Opaque coverage means they are great to wear alone or under other products to increase longevity and colour payoff. I adore how creamy the formula is, but it is just the right density where it doesn’t slip. My lips are so chapped and flaky at the moment, but as you can see in the lip swatches above, this formula does not emphasize that whatsoever, but actually disguises the dryness instead! The wear time is about 5 hours on myself with a standard bullet lipstick and even with gloss, which honestly shocked me given how creamy the liner is. There are not enough good things to say about this formula, but if you’re at all curious, I do suggest picking one up to try – now that they’ve launched, I can see the full range of colours is beautiful & you really can’t go wrong with any shade you choose!
