My favourite time of the year (for makeup anyways) is back! I love fall and winter when it comes to lippies, because I feel like it’s the season with no rules! It’s definitely much more acceptable to wear deep, dark and dramatic lips at this time of year! I haven’t busted out the really rich shades as of yet, but these 4 are the colours I have been wearing most often lately!

Left to right – Miami Fever, Beetroot, Drip, Grunge

Ofra Miami Fever Liquid Lipstick

This is a shade of no season to me, personally. I wear this colour all year round, but as soon as the leaves changed this year, I was drawn back into this colour. It’s a fabulous shade! The formula is creamy and comfortable, yet still matte. I always get compliments whenever I wear this colour, so you know it’s a good one!

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche in Beetroot

When I’m craving a turn toward the cooler side, I reach for this beauty! The shade is bright and cheery, and the formula is very smooth. It can smudge as it doesn’t ever really set. But the colour is just SO perfect, I can’t fault this lippe whatsoever.

Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip in Drip

Effortless is the one word that describes this product. A “my lips but better” shade in a sheer formula. It’s the perfect pairing with any makeup look basically ever.

Colourpop Matte Lippie Stix in Grunge

This is another one of those any season shades, and yet I reach for it most often at this time of year. There’s something about it that reminds me of hot chocolate and other delicious treats. I feel like I have featured this shade is so many looks in the past, you know my love of it by now.

Last fall, I rounded up some less-wearable shades, definitely check out that post for more fall lipstick inspo!
