So I’ve now worn this look twice because I absolutely am in love with this unexpected colour combination. Bold sea foam green in the waterline pairs effortlessly with the bright gold on the lid and in the inner corner. The whole look is tied together with the lips, crease and cheeks as they all have a brown, dusty pink shade. These are all such rich tones, yet pair so perfectly together, and feels seasonal without being a standard summer look.
This makeup look is quite ColourPop heavy, as I made a recent order and am playing around with the new additions still (and just generally have a ColourPop obsession). When I ordered these items, I didn’t know how perfectly they would work together, so it was a bit of a happy accident.
The star of the show in my opinion is the colour in the waterline, ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Zulu, which brightens my eyes and this placement makes wearing a bold colour super simple to incorporate into any look! This colour would definitely look amazing on all eye colours and pair with so many neutral shadow shades. I’ve created a halo shape placement on the lid, and mimicked that on the lower lash line using Makeup Forever Artist Shadow in M-600 on the inner and outer portion as well as in the crease. This colour diffuses so effortlessly and perfectly that there is no need to use a transition shade. On the centre of the lid, inner corner and centre of the lower lash line, I’ve gone for ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Telepathy to bring a lot of light and super shine to contrast the matte brown pink. Several coats of Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara finish off the entire look. Lashes are not necessary when using this mascara! No contour or bronzer in this look, just Benefit Dallas Blush in a bronzer/contour/blush placement. This shade is great for sculpting without sculpting, you know what I mean?
Don’t these shades just look so amazing together?! I personally think they look regal, yet extremely playful. I just want to keep using these colours in different ways because they compliment one another so perfectly!
