I am so excited to be bring back a series that has been lost from this platform for quite some time. I cannot wait to share with you my Loving Lately round ups once again. This series is an oldie but a goodie here on my blog – my version of a current faves kinda post! My aim is to do these much more often to share with you things I just can’t get enough of!

I’ve always admired the look of oval brushes, they look so elegant and innovative. I had seen some high end variations of this style brush, but honestly, was never willing to fork out the cash for some expensive brands! As much as I love trying out new beauty I am also always looking for a good deal too!  When Simple Glam Girls reached out to me with an opportunity to try their Oval Brush Set*, I was excited to think I may have accidentally stumbled upon a great, affordable alternative.

I received the Lush Rose Gold Oval Set by Simple Glam Girls about a month ago. The set contains 10 gorgeous brushes of all shapes and sizes, perfect for creating looks with cream and powder products. I’ve been testing these brushes since they arrived and have been quite enjoying these little beauties!

You may know that I like to share my current favourites from time to time! However, I realized I hadn’t posted a Loving Lately round up for over a year… So I figured it’s time to let you guys know what I’m currently loving. There’s a mix of makeup and lifestyle items that I can’t get enough of at the moment, so let’s just jump on in!

My current faves

For my first “Loving Lately” post in over a year, this round up may seem quite boring. I’ve been wearing very tonal, easy makeup most days and relaxing as much as I possibly can in downtime.  I haven’t been feeling well, and so I’ve been working from home a lot, so haven’t been wearing much makeup. But I have been really loving these items I’ve found myself reaching for the most.

When I spotted the Real Techniques Ultimate Base Set last week I couldn’t resist picking it up. My intention was to revisit the Miracle Complexion sponge as I have used it in the past (loved it!) and wanted to try it out again. However, this trio lured me in as it contains the sponge and 2 brushes all in a limited-edition set. Unfortunately, as I’m sitting down to write this review, it looks like it’s no longer available! But no need to worry, all of these tools are available individually. So why don’t I let you know my thoughts on the contents?
