The dramatic lower lash line is an eyeshadow placement I’ve been trying for years. Ever since I started wearing eyeshadow, I’ve attempted creating a focal point on the lower lash line because of my hooded lids. I have found a technique that truly flatters my eyes, only within the past year or so. That being – go bold and refrain from too much structure. This technique allows me to play with colour, which my hooded lids tend to often hide. Today I want to share with you a recent look I am absolutely in love with!
MY CUSTOM COLOURPOP PALETTE
Today I wanted to share my Colourpop custom palette! These are my current go-to shades. The earthy tones have been so inspiring as of late, and I love the way these shades pair together. I can create so many different looks by combining these in so many ways! And since Colourpop has a build your own palette promotion at the moment, right now is the perfect time to share these guys with you!
Valentine’s Makeup 2 Ways
Today, I have 2 ways to wear this super easy Valentine’s Day makeup look. This eye look can pair with just about any lip, and today I’ve chosen 2 lip options to share with you that I think perfectly suit Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re headed out on a dinner date or drinks with friends, this look is perfect! This look can easily be soft and romantic or can be quickly turned around for a more edgy result, I love versatile makeup like this! Of course, this look can be amped up by smoking out the eyes or adding falsies, but I chose to keep it a little lighter, even though I would love it either way!
BOLD PINK & GOLD LOOK
Playing with bright, bold makeup is such a meditative experience for me. I feel like my mind goes blank, I simply focus on the moment – blending, combining, exploring, creating. It’s therapeutic. On Thursday afternoon, instead of worrying about heading back to work on Friday morning, I sat down with a bunch of makeup, without a plan and just went for it. The final result was this bright pink and gold look – and I love the final look!
